Psalm 113
Literal Standard Version
Chapter overview
Psalm 113 stretches praise from sunrise to sunset and from heaven's heights toward society's lowest places. The poor receive dignity, the needy share honored company, and a childless woman rejoices within family.

1Praise YAH! Praise, you servants of YHWH. Praise the Name of YHWH.
2The Name of YHWH is blessed, || From now on, and for all time.
3From the rising of the sun to its going in, || The Name of YHWH [is] praised.
4YHWH [is] high above all nations, || His glory [is] above the heavens.
5Who [is] as our God YHWH, || He is exalting [Himself] to sit?
6He is humbling [Himself] to look || On the heavens and on the earth.
7He is raising up the poor from the dust, || He exalts the needy from a dunghill.
8To cause [them] to sit with princes, || With the princes of His people.
9Causing the barren one of the house to sit, || A joyful mother of sons; praise YAH!
