How you Use BibleVerse is Always Up to You
You can memorize a verse, read any chapter, keep favorites, write notes and review what you know without ever signing in. All of it is kept in the browser you are using. That has been true from the first day, and it stays true.
One thing worth knowing: when you are not signed in, your progress lives only in that browser, and the browser is in charge of it. If its data is cleared, by you or by the device, the verses you were learning may be gone for good, and we would have no way to bring them back. That is the reason accounts exist. An account keeps a copy with us, so what you have learned is safe even if a browser forgets. If you would rather keep things local, that is a fine choice too. It just helps to know.

BibleVerse installs from your browser straight onto your home screen, with no app store in between. It is the same site, so it stays safe and private: nothing passes through a middleman and nothing is shared. You do not need an account to use or access the web app.
Data Stewardship
Your email, an optional name, your Bible version, theme and text size, your verses, favorites and notes, and your newsletter settings. Nothing else. No ads, no tracking, and nothing is sold. Delete your account whenever you like and it is gone within thirty days, with your address kept off every list so no mail follows. The details are in the privacy policy.

It may be gone for good. Without an account your progress lives only in that browser, so if the browser's data is cleared there is no copy to bring back. An account keeps a copy with BibleVerse, which is the reason accounts exist.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, from your account page, at any time. The account and everything in it are gone within thirty days, and your email address is kept off every list so no mail follows.
