Purpose of BibleVerse
BibleVerse provides Bible-reading and memorization tools for personal, educational, and devotional use. It is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, mental-health, financial, or pastoral advice.
Using the service
You may use BibleVerse for lawful personal and educational purposes. You agree not to interfere with the site's operation, attempt to bypass security controls, overload the service, distribute malicious code, or use automated access in a way that unreasonably disrupts service for others.
Your pasted content
You may paste a verse or passage from a Bible you are entitled to use. That content is stored locally in your browser. You remain responsible for the content you enter and for respecting any copyright or other restrictions that apply to it.
Bible texts and other content
Bible translations available through the site are used under their respective public-domain dedications, Creative Commons licenses, publisher permissions, or other stated terms. Translation-specific credits and conditions appear on the text credits page. Those terms continue to govern the underlying texts.
The BibleVerse name, interface, original explanations, and site design may not be presented as another party's product or used in a way that falsely implies endorsement.
Chapter illustrations
The chapter artwork on the site is original to BibleVerse: human-guided, AI-assisted, and human-reviewed. Each image is directed against a written editorial and theological standard, generated with that direction, and reviewed before publication. The illustrations are interpretive artwork rather than depictions of historical record, and they are not part of any Bible translation.
Availability and changes
BibleVerse may add, change, correct, suspend, or remove features or translations. The service may occasionally be unavailable, and locally stored progress may be lost through browser settings, device failure, private browsing, or cleared site data. Keep a separate copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
No warranty
BibleVerse is provided “as is” and “as available.” While care is taken with the application and Bible data, no promise is made that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or suitable for every purpose. If a passage appears incomplete or incorrect, compare it with an authoritative edition and report the issue.
Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, BibleVerse and its contributors are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the site. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Third-party services and links
The site may link to publishers, research resources, MARS, and other independent services. BibleVerse does not control their content, availability, policies, or practices.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the service changes. Continued use after revised terms are published means that the revised terms apply from their stated effective date.
