Psalm 126:3
Geneva Bible 1599
Chapter overview
Psalm 126 remembers restoration so astonishing it felt like a dream. Laughter and international witness accompany return, while renewed prayer trusts that present tears and costly sowing will become songs and abundant harvest.

1A song of degrees, or Psalme of David. When ye Lord brought againe the captiuitie of Zion, we were like them that dreame.
2Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with ioye: then sayd they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.
3The Lord hath done great things for vs, whereof we reioyce.
4O Lord, bring againe our captiuitie, as the riuers in the South.
5They that sowe in teares, shall reape in ioy.
6They went weeping and caried precious seede: but they shall returne with ioye and bring their sheaues.
