James urges readers to express faith through what they do. Trials, wisdom, speech, partiality, wealth, and conflict become tests of a life shaped by God’s word. The letter challenges empty claims of faith, warns against exploiting the poor, and commends mercy, humility, patience, prayer, and care for those who wander from the truth.
